The All-New Ilma: A Culmination of Luxury and Innovation

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection’s latest addition, the Ilma, draws its design inspiration from a unique blend of Maltese mythology, coastlines, history, and native fauna. The name “Ilma,” which means “water” in Maltese, perfectly encapsulates the essence of this grand vessel. Unlike its predecessor, the Evrima, the Ilma boasts larger dimensions, measuring an impressive 790 feet and accommodating 448 passengers compared to the Evrima’s capacity of 298.

One of the standout features of the Ilma is the introduction of the Beach House concept. This innovative venue, designed by Toronto-based luxury design firm Chapi Chapo Designs, offers a dining experience like no other, serving up Peruvian and Pan-Latin cuisine accompanied by craft cocktails. The seamless integration of indoor and outdoor spaces allows guests to enjoy 180-degree views while basking in a serene coastal atmosphere.

The Ilma is equipped with a spa featuring 11 rooms, five of which are designed for outdoor treatments, as well as three distinct fitness spaces for guests to stay active. With five dining venues, seven bars, and a wine vault, passengers are spoiled for choice when it comes to culinary experiences. Throughout the ship, neutral tones harmonize with light and dark finishes, creating an intimate and inviting ambiance conducive to forging connections with fellow travelers.

Elegant Suites

Each suite on the Ilma is meticulously designed to offer the utmost luxury and comfort. Floor-to-ceiling windows and private terraces afford guests breathtaking views of the sea, while rich textures, warm lighting, and delicate hues create a sense of refinement and tranquility. The Marina and Marina Terrace have been reimagined on the Ilma, boasting large Panasonic glass windows, side doors that open to the sea, and a hydraulic platform for a truly immersive experience.

Unveiling the Ilma

The Ilma will set sail on its maiden voyage from Monte Carlo on September 2, destined for Civitavecchia, the port for Rome, on September. Guests eagerly anticipate the opportunity to experience the luxury, innovation, and unparalleled service that define the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. As the Ilma emerges as a beacon of opulence and sophistication on the seas, it promises a journey like no other, where every moment is infused with elegance and grandeur.
