Discount carrier Avelo is making significant strides in expanding its operations, both domestically and internationally. The airline has announced that it will begin offering international service in November, along with launching new routes from Bradley International Airport in Connecticut. Avelo’s foray into international service will commence in November with flights from Bradley International Airport to Montego Bay, Jamaica, and Cancun, Mexico. In addition to international service, Avelo is also expanding its domestic operations with the introduction of 18 new routes in the fall. Seven of these routes will be from Bradley International Airport, with the help of two Boeing 737NG aircraft joining the fleet. The new destinations from Bradley include Daytona Beach, Houston Hobby, Wilmington, Concord, and Lakeland, among others. These additions further strengthen Avelo’s presence in the Northeast region and provide more travel choices for passengers.
Central Florida Portfolio
Avelo is set to enhance its central Florida portfolio by introducing new routes from Lakeland to various cities. Starting in late October and early November, the airline will begin flying to Atlanta, San Juan, Rochester, Wilmington, Manchester, and Concord from Lakeland. These routes complement the existing services between Lakeland and New Haven, as well as the six routes from Orlando International Airport. The expansion of routes in central Florida underscores Avelo’s strategy to connect key cities and offer convenient travel options to passengers.
Among the new fall routes announced by Avelo are flights from Concord, N.C. to Hartford, Albany, Manchester, Rochester, and Wilmington, Del.
