He started as the Food & Wine Editor of Diversion magazine and later joined Food & Wine magazine, ultimately relocating from New York to San Francisco. Serendipity struck when he met the Food Editor of Bon Appétit at the Gilroy Garlic Festival, paving the way for his 26-year career at the magazine. Not content with writing only for other publications, Andy partnered with Meredith May to found The Tasting Panel magazine and acquired the Somm Journal.
