Surf Synergy, a popular surf and stand-up paddleboard resort in Costa Rica, is set to open a brand new 26-person villa on May 1st. This new addition will more than double the resort’s capacity and is part of a major overhaul and expansion of the property on the Central Pacific Coast. Casa Del Cielo, the 11,000-square-foot solar-powered villa, will feature six bedrooms with private balconies, two bunkrooms, a living room, indoor and outdoor kitchens and dining areas, an infinity pool, a hot tub, and a game room complete with a 75-inch television, bar, and table games. The villa can be booked individually or for group buyouts, offering guests a luxurious and comfortable stay.
Located in Jaco, just a short distance from San Jose airport, Surf Synergy is known for its immersive seven-day packages. These packages include one-on-one surfing or SUP instruction, yoga classes, massages, and other wellness activities like breathwork. Additionally, guests can enjoy three family-style meals, one local excursion, and airport transportation as part of their package. This all-inclusive approach ensures that guests have everything they need for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay at the resort.
As part of the redevelopment plans, Surf Synergy is also introducing new amenities such as a Skate Surf Park with specially designed skateboards that mimic surfboards. This park is expected to open in the summer and will offer a unique experience for guests. Additionally, a new wellness center is in the works, with programs tailored to surfers’ recovery needs, including ice baths, saunas, and massages. The resort is also committed to sustainability initiatives, with plans to add a bio-composter for all fuel, a regenerative agriculture program, and the planting of 1,000 trees and plants on the property.
Surf Synergy’s seven-acre property, situated just a mile from Jaco’s surfing beach, boasts a pool, a yoga pavilion, and six newly renovated hillside bungalows. The bungalows are equipped with hammocks, garden rainforest showers, refrigerators, and chorreadors – traditional Costa Rican pour-over coffeemakers. These features, combined with the resort’s commitment to sustainability and guest comfort, make Surf Synergy a top choice for surf enthusiasts looking for a unique and immersive experience in Costa Rica.
