Princess Cruises Introduces Flexible Dining Options for Guests

Starting this September, Princess Cruises will be offering guests more dining options than ever before. In addition to the traditional early or late dinner seatings, guests can now choose to dine at any time they prefer in the main dining rooms. This new flexibility ensures that guests can enjoy their meals in a way that suits their individual preferences.

Guests onboard Princess Cruises will now have three dining options to choose from. They can opt for traditional dining, where they have a set time, waiter, and table for every evening of their cruise. Alternatively, guests can make reservations for a particular night or simply walk in at any time. Each of these dining options will be available on different floors or areas of the main dining rooms, giving guests a variety of choices during their cruise experience.

On select ships like the Coral Princess and Island Princess, guests who choose flexible dining will have a designated dining room set aside specifically for them. This creates a more personalized and streamlined dining experience for guests who prefer more flexibility in their meal times. Princess Cruises originally launched this flexible dining approach on the Sun Princess, where guests have been delighted with the dining flexibility offered onboard.

Sami Kohen, Princess Cruises’ vice president of food and beverage, expressed the cruise line’s excitement about extending the flexible dining concept to all other ships in the fleet. Starting with departures on September 14, guests will have the opportunity to experience all three dining service options on every Princess Cruises ship. In addition, guests can use the cruise line’s app to make reservations ahead of their cruise, whether they prefer traditional seating or making nightly reservations.

To support the transition to the new dining system, main dining reservations booked for voyages sailing on or after September 14 will be canceled for all ships except for the Sun Princess. This will allow guests to take full advantage of the new dining options and experience the flexibility and convenience that Princess Cruises has to offer. With these exciting changes, guests can look forward to a more personalized and enjoyable dining experience on their Princess Cruises vacation.
