Universal Orlando Resort is embarking on an innovative venture by launching a new ticketed event called “Universal Volcano Bay Nights.” This unique experience allows guests to revel in the beauty and thrills of the waterpark after dark. Scheduled for several select evenings in April and May, the event is designed particularly for those who wish to enjoy a less bustling environment, allowing families and friends to make unforgettable memories in a magical setting.
The limited-capacity event is scheduled for April 12 and 26, as well as May 3, 10, and 17. Priced starting at $99 per person (tax excluded), attendees can relish in what promises to be an extraordinary night. Importantly, the ticket price includes parking to streamline the experience for guests. For those seeking a more exclusive experience, private cabanas can be reserved on the day of the event for an additional $249.99. These shaded sanctuaries represent an opportunity for groups to unwind in comfort while enjoying all that the event has to offer.
During the Universal Volcano Bay Nights, guests can immerse themselves in select attractions that remain open for the evening. Some of the highlights include the adrenaline-pumping Krakatau Aqua Coaster and the steep drops of Ko’okiri Body Plunge, alongside the twisting thrills of the Kala and Tai Nui Serpentine Body Slides. As the sun sets, the atmosphere will be electrified with a vibrant DJ performing live at Waturi Beach. Classic beach games, such as limbo and hula hoop contests, will further enhance the playful spirit of the night.
Beyond the rides, attendees will also delight in character meet-and-greets featuring beloved characters from DreamWorks. Guests can take pictures and engage with iconic figures such as Shrek and Fiona, Puss in Boots, and the vibrant Trolls crew – all adding a dash of magical charm to the evening.
The culinary offerings during Volcano Bay Nights promise to be a feast for the senses. Guests will be treated to complimentary snacks like Spicy Island Shrimp and Cheesy Cliffside Seashell Pasta. To top it off, a diverse selection of Coca-Cola beverages awaits them, with over 100 different drink options available in their complementary Volcano Bay Freestyle Souvenir Cup. Additionally, various restaurants within the park, including the Kohola Reef Restaurant and Dancing Dragons Boat Bar, will host an array of specialty dishes and drinks available for purchase.
While the official festivities process begins at 7 p.m., guests are encouraged to arrive as early as 4 p.m. This early access not only allows for a smooth entry into the park but also provides guests with ample time to relax and soak in the ambiance before the event kicks off.
Universal Volcano Bay Nights is set to become a highlight of the Orlando experience for waterpark lovers and nightlife enthusiasts alike. With its thrilling attractions, engaging entertainment, and delightful dining options, it promises to be an extraordinary occasion that captures the essence of summer fun.
