Exploring DreamWorks Land at Universal Studios Florida

Universal Studios Florida welcomed guests to the highly anticipated DreamWorks Land on June 14. This new addition, announced the previous summer, offers visitors the chance to interact with beloved characters from popular DreamWorks movies such as “Shrek,” “Trolls,” and “Kung Fu Panda.”

Upon entering the land, guests are transported to Shrek’s Swamp, where they are greeted by a 35-foot-tall cottage. The area is filled with character meet-and-greets, play areas, a snack kiosk, and an interactive experience with Mama Luna and her cats from “Puss in Boots 2: The Last Wish.” This immersive environment truly brings the world of Shrek to life for guests of all ages.

Within DreamWorks Land, visitors can also discover Trolls Village, home to the Trolls Rollercoaster, a playground, an ice cream kiosk, and a gift shop. In Po’s Kung Fu Training Camp, guests have the opportunity to enjoy a digital meet-and-greet with Po and Ling Ling, Po’s little cousin. The area also features a play area with both wet and dry options, providing entertainment for everyone.

Endless Entertainment and Shows

The excitement continues at the DreamWorks Imagination Celebration, where guests can partake in a party-like atmosphere filled with songs and dancing. Additionally, the DreamWorks Character Zone showcases familiar faces such as Gabby from “Gabby’s Dollhouse.” These experiences offer guests the opportunity to create lasting memories and immerse themselves in the magical world of DreamWorks.

New Shows and Events

In addition to the grand opening of DreamWorks Land, Universal Studios Florida debuted two new shows on June 14. “CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular” takes place over the lagoon, captivating audiences with a visual and musical performance. Meanwhile, “Hogwarts Always” treats guests to a castle projection show in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Hogsmeade at Universal Islands of Adventure. As the summer progresses, visitors can look forward to the Universal Mega Movie Parade at Universal Studios Florida, promising even more entertainment for all.
