Lufthansa is set to unveil its highly anticipated Allegris aircraft interior on May 1st. This innovative cabin design will make its debut on new Airbus A350 planes, with the first flights connecting Munich to Vancouver. The Allegris cabins are poised to become the most diverse and luxurious configurations in the sky, offering a range of seating options for passengers.
One of the key highlights of the Allegris cabins is the extensive range of seating products available to passengers. Initially, Lufthansa had announced seven different business class options, but a recent press release mentioned only five. In addition to the business class offerings, there will be four distinct economy products and a premium economy cabin. While the Airbus A350 Allegris aircraft will eventually feature two unique first-class seats, the initial flights will not include first class seating.
Originally, Lufthansa had planned to introduce the Allegris configuration on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners last fall. This would have included 12 seating products across economy, premium economy, and business class. However, delivery delays from Boeing have pushed back the launch of this exciting new cabin design. Despite this setback, Lufthansa is committed to offering Allegris interiors on a wide range of aircraft, including new Dreamliners, A350s, and Boeing 777-9s. The airline will also be retrofitting some of its existing widebody planes, such as the Boeing 747-8s.
Travelers eager to experience the Allegris cabins can now view seat maps on Lufthansa’s booking channels. In the initial months of operating Allegris A350s, Lufthansa has opted not to charge separate prices for the various business-class products. This move aims to provide passengers with an opportunity to explore the different seating options without additional cost implications.
The introduction of Lufthansa’s Allegris aircraft interior marks a significant milestone in the world of air travel. With its diverse cabin configurations and luxurious offerings, passengers can look forward to a truly unique flying experience. Despite the delays in the launch of the Allegris cabins, Lufthansa’s commitment to revolutionizing air travel remains unwavering.
