Ken Potrock, who formerly served as the president of Disneyland Resort, has been appointed as the president of Walt Disney Company Major Events Integration. This role is especially pertinent as Disney gears up to capitalize on the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. Stepping in to fill Potrock’s previous role is Thomas Mazloum, who rejoins the Disneyland team after a significant stint as president of Disney Signature Experiences, where he focused on expanding the Disney Cruise Line and other luxury offerings. Mazloum’s return to Disneyland comes after a career marked by numerous leadership positions since he joined Disney in 1998. He will now oversee Disneyland’s expansive workforce, comprising over 36,000 employees. His familiarity with the theme parks will be critical for addressing operational challenges and enhancing guest experiences at Disneyland.

Meanwhile, Joe Schott is taking the helm as president of Disney Signature Experiences, stepping up from his role as president and general manager of Shanghai Disney Resort. Schott has a distinguished 40-year career at Disney, granting him a wealth of knowledge about both theme parks and hospitality services. In this new position, he will manage Disney Cruise Line, Disney Vacation Club, and several other premium offerings, aiming to further strengthen Disney’s market presence in high-end travel and leisure.

Taking over Schott’s previous role at Shanghai Disney Resort is Andrew Bolstein, who has cultivated a robust history with the company over 30 years. Bolstein’s experience includes leadership positions across various international Disney parks, enhancing his skill set to drive Shanghai Disney into its next phase of development. His appointment signals Disney’s commitment to fostering talent from within and ensuring continuity in leadership.
