The Exciting New Dining Experiences on Utopia of the Seas

Royal Caribbean International’s upcoming Oasis-class ship, Utopia of the Seas, is set to revolutionize dining at sea with its innovative and unique culinary experiences. Among the exciting additions is The Spare Tire, a poolside eatery designed to resemble a food truck. This new dining venue offers a casual and fun atmosphere, serving delectable items such as pulled pork sandwiches and cheeseburger flatbread. Additionally, The Spare Tire will feature a daily rotating selection of delightful desserts, ensuring that guests can indulge in different sweet treats throughout their cruise.

Utopia of the Seas will also introduce Royal Railway – Utopia Station, a dining venue that takes guests on a culinary journey reminiscent of dining on a train. To begin this immersive experience, guests will enjoy pre-dinner drinks at a station platform. As the train whistle sounds, they will board the dining car, where they will be treated to stunning “window” views, showcasing various landscapes such as the enchanting Wild West. This unique dining adventure allows guests to savor delicious dishes while immersing themselves in a fascinating ambiance.

Following the success of the Icon of the Seas, Royal Caribbean is relocating its specialty Japanese restaurant, Izumi, to Central Park on Utopia of the Seas. Here, guests can indulge in a variety of sushi, Japanese-inspired street food, and delectable sweets. In an exciting development, Izumi will also feature a pickup window, allowing guests to conveniently grab their favorite Japanese dishes. For a more intimate and elevated experience, a sit-down Izumi venue will be located next door, offering an exquisite multicourse omakase-inspired private dining experience. Complete with sake cocktails, additional teppanyaki tables, and al fresco dining, this new addition promises to be a highlight for culinary enthusiasts.

Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar, a beloved specialty restaurant, will be a prominent feature on Utopia of the Seas. This two-story space will not only provide exceptional Italian fare but also offer guests the opportunity to dine on an outside terrace named Gio Terrazza, overlooking the breathtaking Boardwalk. The combination of delectable cuisine, a charming ambiance, and picturesque views makes Giovanni’s a must-visit dining destination for passengers.

Alongside The Spare Tire, Royal Railway, Izumi, and Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar, Utopia of the Seas will also host a range of other dining options. The ship’s culinary offerings will include The Mason Jar Southern Restaurant and Bar, which made its debut on Wonder of the Seas. Guests can also savor classic favorites like Hooked Seafood, Chops Grille, and Trellis Bar. With over 20 unique dining experiences to choose from, Utopia of the Seas will cater to every palate and dining preference.

As Royal Caribbean’s sixth Oasis-class ship, Utopia of the Seas promises an unparalleled culinary journey for its guests. With its innovative dining venues, captivating ambiance, and diverse culinary options, this ship is set to redefine the onboard dining experience. Whether you’re craving a casual food truck-style meal by the pool or an immersive journey through different landscapes while dining on a train, Utopia of the Seas has it all.
