The Expansion of Private Beach Destinations by Carnival Corp.

Carnival Corp. has recently announced its expansion plans for a new private beach destination in Grand Bahama called Celebration Key. This development is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to provide unique and exclusive experiences for its guests.

In addition to the development of Celebration Key, Carnival Corp. will also be expanding its existing private destination, Half Moon Cay. The enhancements at this Bahamian island will include new beach, dining, and beverage experiences for guests. These upgrades are aimed at improving the overall guest experience and attracting more visitors to the destination.

The enhancements at Half Moon Cay will pave the way for Carnival Cruise Line’s Excel-class ships to visit the island for the first time. This means that guests on Carnival Cruise Line’s Mardi Gras, Celebration, and Jubilee ships will now have the opportunity to experience Half Moon Cay as part of their cruise itinerary.

Carnival Cruise Line has already started incorporating Half Moon Cay into its 2026 and 2027 cruise itineraries. The Carnival Celebration will offer cruises to the eastern and western Caribbean from Miami, with stops at Celebration Key, Nassau, Half Moon Cay, and other popular destinations. Similarly, the Mardi Gras and Jubilee ships will also feature new itineraries that include stops at Celebration Key and Half Moon Cay.

The Carnival Dream, sailing out of Galveston, will offer a variety of six-, seven-, and eight-day cruises to the eastern and western Caribbean, with stops at Celebration Key and Half Moon Cay. Additionally, the ship will also provide longer 14-day cruises to the eastern and southern Caribbean, with visits to destinations such as Ocho Rios, Barbados, St. Lucia, and St. Kitts.

Overall, Carnival Corp.’s investment in Celebration Key and the expansion of Half Moon Cay highlight the company’s commitment to providing unique and memorable experiences for its guests. With the addition of these new private beach destinations, guests can look forward to a diverse range of itinerary options and enhanced vacation experiences.
