In addition to being named the world’s best airline, Qatar Airways also clinched other coveted titles at the awards ceremony. The airline was recognized for having the world’s best business class, world’s best business class lounge, and best airline in the Middle East. Among U.S. carriers, Delta stood out as the best performer, finishing 21st for the world’s best airline. Other U.S. airlines that made it to the top 100 included United, Alaska, JetBlue, American, Allegiant, Sun Country, Breeze, Southwest, and Hawaiian. Delta’s wins in multiple categories, such as best airline in North America, best business class in North America, and best economy class in North America, showcase the airline’s unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
Saudi Arabian Airlines was recognized as the world’s most improved airline, surpassing competitors like Starlux and Play, who finished second and third, respectively. The Skytrax survey of airline customers, conducted from September 2023 to May 2024, involved the participation of over 100 customer nationalities. The awards serve as a barometer for measuring customer satisfaction and recognizing airlines that go above and beyond to meet and exceed passenger expectations.
