Riu Hotels & Resorts recently reopened the Riu Palace Bavaro all-inclusive in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, after an extensive renovation and expansion. The revamped Riu Palace Bavaro now boasts 994 guestrooms, with 255 designed specifically for families and larger groups. These new family-oriented accommodations feature three beds and are located in a newly developed area with exciting attractions like a mini splash park, pirate ship, games park, cinema, and multi-sports area. The property’s kids’ club has also been redesigned to enhance the experience for younger guests.
A highlight of the renovation is the addition of a new food court offering a variety of dining options. Guests can now enjoy a pizzeria, a “Wok-Poke station,” a fried chicken area, an ice cream parlor, and a taqueria. The Riu Palace Bavaro now boasts an impressive 32 dining venues, providing guests with a wide range of culinary experiences to choose from.
In addition to the new accommodations and dining options, the Riu Palace Bavaro has introduced the Riu’s Elite Club concept. Guests who opt for the Elite Club accommodations are treated to exclusive amenities and perks, including access to a dedicated swimming pool and bar area, as well as priority check-in. The property has set aside 108 rooms for Elite Club guests, with 60 of them featuring private pools for added luxury.
