The Sweet Partnership Between Holland America Line and Lindt

Holland America Line is teaming up with Lindt to provide guests with delectable sweets throughout their cruise experience. As part of this collaboration, guests will be treated to Lindt Lindor milk chocolate truffles or sea salt milk chocolate truffles in their stateroom after participating in the once-a-cruise Gala Night activities. The addition of these high-quality chocolates adds an extra touch of luxury to the cruise experience, allowing guests to indulge in delicious treats.

In a nod to Holland America Line’s Dutch heritage, guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy Lindt chocolate desserts inspired by the iconic Dutch flower, the tulip. One such dessert is a tulip-shaped chocolate mousse cake, which pays homage to the Netherlands, where Holland America Line was founded. This special dessert is currently being served on the Rotterdam during its Dutch Day dinner menu in the dining room and will soon be available fleetwide starting in August. These unique and delicious treats add a touch of elegance and sophistication to the dining experience onboard.

Guests can look forward to even more sweet offerings as part of the partnership between Holland America Line and Lindt. Starting in July, guests can order a decadent Lindt sundae, featuring vanilla ice cream topped with a luscious Lindt chocolate sauce. For those looking for a unique and decorative dessert, Lindt chocolate tulips will also be available as an option. These delectable treats will be served one night per cruise in the dining room as part of the Dutch Day dinner menu, providing guests with an unforgettable culinary experience.

A Sweet Sensory Experience

In addition to individual desserts, guests on cruises longer than seven days can enjoy a specially crafted Lindt flourless chocolate cake, created in collaboration with Lindt’s master chocolatier, Ann Czaja. This rich and decadent cake will be featured on the dining room menu, offering guests a luxurious sweet treat to savor during their extended cruise. Furthermore, guests can partake in the “Cake Me Away” program in the Lido market, where they can sample more than 22 five-layer cakes in 16 flavors. This onboard dessert program adds a touch of excitement and variety to the dining experience, allowing guests to explore a wide range of delicious cake options.

The partnership between Holland America Line and Lindt is a testament to HAL’s commitment to enhancing its culinary offerings and providing guests with exceptional sweet treats during their cruise. With an array of Lindt chocolate desserts and cakes to choose from, guests can indulge their sweet tooth while enjoying a luxurious and unforgettable dining experience at sea.
