Introducing Windstar Cruises’ Star Seeker: A Closer Look at the New Ship

Windstar Cruises has recently revealed exciting details about their upcoming ship, the Star Seeker. This new addition will feature two Horizon Owners Suites located at the aft of the ship on deck 7. These suites boast a wraparound balcony, providing guests with stunning views of the sea. What sets these suites apart is the option to combine them with adjacent suites, making them ideal for multigenerational families or groups traveling together. Additionally, the Horizon Owners Suites will be the most spacious among the 112 staterooms on the ship.

One of the standout features of the Star Seeker is the introduction of 30 new Infinity Suites. These suites will showcase a floor-to-ceiling infinity window that slides down halfway, reminiscent of the design seen on expedition ships. Furthermore, the ship will offer ten Oceanview suites, each equipped with a window and a luxurious walk-in mosaic glass shower. Notably, there will be no interior cabins on the Seeker, ensuring that every guest can enjoy natural light and ocean views.

Guests staying in the top four suite categories – Horizon, Star, Classic, and Deluxe – can look forward to a range of exclusive amenities. From an Illy espresso machine to canapes service and fresh flowers, Windstar Cruises has thought of every detail to elevate the onboard experience. The design of the suites, featuring light wood, blues, greens, and browns, aims to create a sense of tranquility for guests, setting the perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation.

Slated to debut in January 2026, the Star Seeker will set sail on a transatlantic crossing from Malaga to Miami, where it will be christened before embarking on Caribbean cruises. Following its inaugural season, the ship will journey to Alaska, Japan, and Southeast Asia, offering guests a diverse array of destinations to explore. Windstar Cruises plans to announce the ship’s itineraries in early September, with priority booking access granted to Yacht Club loyalty members and travel advisors.

Windstar Cruises’ Star Seeker promises to deliver a luxurious and unique cruise experience for guests seeking unparalleled comfort and unforgettable adventures on the high seas. With innovative design elements, luxurious amenities, and exciting itineraries, the Seeker is poised to be a standout addition to Windstar’s fleet in 2026.
