Air India to Cut International Flights, CEO Shortlist Narrows

Surging fuel costs and geopolitical disruptions are forcing Air India to trim flights across major long-haul routes in the coming months.
The reductions, scheduled between May and July, will affect connections to Europe, North America, Australia, and Singapore, regions that have become increasingly expensive to serve due to longer flight paths and increased fuel burn.
Airspace closures linked to the Iran conflict have compelled airlines to reroute flights, adding both time and cost to journeys that were already operating on tight margins.
