Dallas-born fast casual concept offers a complimentary Zeppelin with proof of purchase of Panera’s new Salad Stuffer

Bread Zeppelin Launches Limited-Time Freebie, Inviting Guests to Taste the DifferenceDallas, TX  (Restaurant News Release)  More than a decade after introducing its signature salad concept, Bread Zeppelin is seeing the category it helped define gain national attention. In response, the Dallas-founded concept, known for its signature “Zeppelin” and salads, is introducing a limited-time promotion following Panera’s recent rollout of its “Salad Stuffers.”

Panera, which operates thousands of locations across the U.S., introduced a similar offering to a concept Bread Zeppelin has been refining in its Texas kitchens since 2013. From April 16-22, guests who present a printed or digital receipt showing purchase of a ‘Salad Stuffer’ will receive a complimentary Zeppelin at participating locations*. The deal is designed to encourage guests to experience Bread Zeppelin’s original take on the stuffed sandwich concept, which the brand has been serving for the past 13 years.

“At Bread Zeppelin, we’ve spent years developing and refining our Zeppelin to ensure it delivers the same quality and consistency every time,” said co-founder Troy Charhon. “With more attention on the type of product we created, we see this as an opportunity to introduce new guests to the original and let the product speak for itself.”

Each Zeppelin features an artisan baguette, hollowed out and filled with a made-to-order, customizable salad. Bread Zeppelin’s baguettes are also toasted to maintain structure throughout the meal, and all salads are prepared fresh in-store rather than pre-packaged.

Ingredients are assembled in front of the guest, with a focus on consistency and portion transparency. Proteins, such as steak and chicken, are marinated and grilled in-house daily and never frozen. The brand also repurposes its removed bread cores into house-made croutons and bread pudding as part of its approach to minimizing food waste.

“The inspiration behind this campaign is simple: to educate guests on a concept Bread Zeppelin has been refining since 2013,” said Bread Zeppelin President Vincent Ginatta. “We’re hyperfocused on doing this one thing extremely well, from how the bread is toasted and reused to how each salad is prepared and served.”

“When a brand at a more national scale starts building something that looks like what we’ve been doing since day one, it’s a sign we’re doing it right,” said co-founder Andrew Schoellkopf. “This initiative is a simple invitation – come see where it all started and decide for yourself.”

Guests can redeem the offer in-store by presenting valid proof of purchase from Panera between April 16 and 22. For more information or to view the menu, visit BreadZeppelin.com or follow @breadzeppelin on social media.
