Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom Brings Fans Together with World Taps & Apps Tour, New Menu Additions

Limited-time beer and appetizer experience celebrates the premier global event alongside new permanent menu offerings

Denver, CO  (Restaurant News Release)  Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom is kicking off summer with a global-inspired celebration of food, beer and soccer. Beginning June 24, guests can embark on the World Taps & Apps Tour, a limited-time experience running through Aug. 16 that pairs international brews, local favorites and craveable appetizers in honor of the world’s biggest soccer tournament.

The six-stop tour invites guests to explore a curated lineup featuring three national beer partners – Kirin Ichiban, Stella Artois and Bell’s Oberon – alongside three customizable local draft selections unique to each restaurant. The experience also spotlights the Berry Cherry Limeade BuzzBallz cocktail* and two new appetizers recently added to Old Chicago’s core menu:

• Crispy Brussels & Cauliflower – Brussels sprouts and cauliflower tossed in a sweet chili soy glaze and finished with green onions.
• Firecracker Shrimp – Crispy shrimp coated in Firecracker sauce and topped with wonton chips and green onions.

At the same time, Old Chicago is expanding its permanent menu with four new additions that bring bold flavors and greater variety to guests nationwide:

• Thai Chicken & Noodle Salad – Seasoned chicken served over sweet Thai-marinated noodles, salad greens and shaved cabbage with crispy wontons, carrots, sweet bell peppers, avocado, toasted sesame seeds, green onions and soy sesame vinaigrette.
• French Dip Sandwich – Shaved roast beef seasoned with au jus spices and served on a toasted French roll with au jus and horseradish sauce.
• Lemon Butter Chicken – Seasoned grilled chicken breast in tangy lemon butter garlic sauce topped with an arugula salad, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, red onions and Parmesan with a side of roasted red potatoes
• Chicken Rustica – Grilled chicken breast topped with a rustic sun-dried tomato cruda with grilled onions, olives, garlic, oregano, olive oil, lemon juice and house-seasoning. Served with roasted red potatoes.
