Pie Tap Celebrates 10 Years with $10 Artisan Pies and an All-Day Happy Hour on August 25
Chef-Driven Neighborhood Favorite Thanks DFW Communities with $10 Throwback Pizzas
Dallas, TX (Restaurant News Release) After a decade of serving handcrafted pies and becoming a neighborhood favorite across DFW, Pie Tap is inviting guests to celebrate with its biggest one-day offer yet. On Tuesday, Aug. 25, every Pie Tap location will serve its signature artisan pies for just $10, along with an all-day happy hour, inviting longtime regulars and first-time guests alike to celebrate its 10-year anniversary.
Throughout August, the celebration continues with Pie Tap’s new Neighborhood Tab initiative, where the restaurant will randomly surprise guests by picking up tabs at every location. Designed as a thank-you to the communities that have supported the brand over the past decade, the month-long celebration reflects Pie Tap’s belief that great neighborhood restaurants are built around the people who gather there.
“Ten years ago, we set out to create a neighborhood gathering place where great food brings people together,” said Rich Hicks, Founder. “Since then, we’ve had the privilege of watching families celebrate birthdays, friends catch up after work, and regulars turn into familiar faces. Those everyday moments are what have built Pie Tap. Whether we’re surprising guests by picking up their tab or serving artisan pies for $10, this celebration is our way of thanking the communities that have chosen us, supported us, and made us part of their lives over the past decade.”
What sets Pie Tap apart starts long before a pizza reaches the table. Every pizza begins with the brand’s signature sourdough, made from a more than 300-year-old starter, using only four ingredients, and naturally fermented for 72 to 96 hours before being hand-stretched and baked in imported Italian rotary ovens. Every restaurant is led by its own chef, reinforcing Pie Tap’s commitment to restaurant-quality execution and handcrafted food in every neighborhood it serves.
In addition to the anniversary celebration, guests can enjoy Pie Tap’s weekly summer specials throughout the season:
- Mondays: Buy any pie and get a Margherita Pie for half price, plus $4 frozen margaritas
- Tuesdays: Any pie for $15
- Wednesdays: $16 pasta and half-priced select bottles of wine
- Thursdays: 20% off online orders
Since opening its first restaurant in Dallas in 2016, Pie Tap has grown to seven locations across DFW by focusing on artisan craftsmanship, genuine hospitality, and creating neighborhood gathering places that feel like an extension of the communities they serve. Ten years after opening its doors, Pie Tap continues to focus on the same philosophy that inspired its first restaurant – bringing people together over thoughtfully crafted food, genuine hospitality, and neighborhood experiences worth coming back for.
