Summit Hospitality Group Appoints Industry Leader Kim Halloran as Vice President of Operations

A nationally respected hospitality leader with more than three decades of experience, Halloran joins Summit Hospitality Group after an accomplished career with The Capital Grille, where she most recently served as Managing Partner. While she has built a legacy within one of the country’s most celebrated restaurant brands, Halloran says the opportunity to help shape the future of a hometown company, and make an even greater impact on the Kansas City community, ultimately drew her to Summit Hospitality Group.

Halloran’s journey in hospitality began at just 14 years old, when she took her first restaurant job. What started as an after-school job quickly became a lifelong calling. Over the past 30-plus years, she has developed expertise across virtually every facet of the industry, from kitchen operations and front-of-house leadership to team development, culture, and guest experience.
Her leadership philosophy has always centered on people.
Known throughout the industry as a compassionate servant leader, Halloran believes great restaurants are built by investing in their teams, creating opportunities for growth, and fostering authentic relationships. Those values align seamlessly with Summit Hospitality Group’s people-first culture.
