Chef-led kitchen introduces a new Avocado BLT, Strawberry Shortcake and charitable Cowboy Cookie

Tender Greens Brings Summer to the TableLos Angeles, CA  (Restaurant News Release)  Summer has arrived at Tender Greens with a trio of limited-time offerings, from heirloom tomatoes and ripe strawberries to a fan-favorite cookie that supports a California community cause.

Rooted in the brand’s commitment to responsibly sourced ingredients and seasonal creations, the menu highlights peak-season produce from trusted growers and suppliers while putting an elevated spin on familiar comfort-food favorites.

Leading the lineup is the new Avocado BLT, a fresh take on a classic sandwich consisting of spiced bacon, lettuce, avocado, heirloom tomatoes, whipped ricotta-pesto aioli layered on Larder Bakery sourdough. Combining vibrant ingredients and bold flavors, the sandwich delivers a satisfying balance of richness and freshness.

For dessert, Tender Greens is serving up its spin on the summer staple Strawberry Shortcake, made with fresh strawberries, Larder Bakery shortbread, strawberry compote, vanilla whipped cream and dried strawberry bits. Juicy strawberries, pillowy cream and crumbly shortbread layer together in a textured bite.

Rounding out the offerings is the return of the fan-favorite Cowboy Cookie, available during Tender Greens’ 20th anniversary month of June. Packed with chocolate, coconut, oats and pecans, the cookie provides a nostalgic bite with an added purpose: all profits from Cowboy Cookie sales will be donated to Nourish California, supporting the organization’s efforts to advance food access throughout the state.

“Some of the most memorable summer meals are built around dishes people already know and love,” said Oliver Pust, corporate executive chef at Tender Greens.”This menu is all about celebrating peak-season produce and putting a fresh spin on familiar favorites.”

Additional offerings include the Summer Harvest Salad with stone fruit, blackberries and goat cheese; the California Bowl with Salmon or Chipotle Chicken BBQ featuring roasted corn salsa and cilantro lime brown rice; and the Summer Longevity Plate with Grilled Sea Bass or Braised Beans, served alongside a panzanella salad and vegetables. Guests can also enjoy a Seasonal Vegetable Plate with a choice of two sides and cool off with a refreshing Watermelon Agua Fresca.
