Czech AI Startup Flae Robotics Expands into Germany and Austria Following UK Launch

Czech technology startup Flae Robotics, the company behind AI receptionist BE-A, is accelerating its European expansion with its entry into Germany and Austria. The move follows successful deployments in Czech hotels and a recent UK launch, as the company sets its sights on the hospitality market in the DACH region.

BE-A is a front-office operating system for modern hotels. The AI platform automates routine guest communication and front-office workflows – from guest questions and requests to reservations and communication via email, WhatsApp, and voice – operating 24/7 in more than 100 languages. It integrates with hotel systems such as PMS, booking engines, and channel managers.

In Czech hotels, BE-A has already proven its ability to significantly relieve front-office teams, handling up to 85% of routine guest requests. This allows staff to focus on personal guest care, complex situations, and the smooth running of hotel operations. The DACH region represents the company’s next strategic step as hotels face increasing pressure to improve efficiency, manage staffing challenges, and meet rising guest expectations.

The company’s expansion in the region will be led by Alexander Zawadzki, who joins Flae Robotics as Business Development Manager for Germany and Austria. In his new role, he will focus on developing new business opportunities in hospitality, building relationships with hotel groups, technology partners, and other key stakeholders, and supporting the company’s sales strategy across the wider DACH region.

Alexander brings over eight years of experience in PMS technology and hotel booking platform sales. He has worked closely with hotels, technology partners, and enterprise clients to implement solutions that enhance guest experience and streamline operations, giving him a strong understanding of the sector’s challenges. His background spans commercial and business development roles across both hospitality and technology.

The expansion into Germany and Austria comes as hotels across Europe grapple with staff shortages, rising operational costs, and increasingly high guest expectations. In the highly competitive and operationally complex DACH market, Flae Robotics positions AI not as a replacement for human interaction but as a tool that relieves teams of repetitive tasks and enables staff to focus on the moments where the human touch delivers the greatest impact.

Filip Linek, Founder and CEO of Flae Robotics, said: “Germany and Austria are an important next step for us. The DACH region is a demanding market where hotels carefully assess new technology based on its operational value. That is exactly why we believe BE-A has strong potential in this environment. Alexander’s experience in PMS technology, hotel booking platforms, and hospitality sales will be key to our growth in the region.”

Alexander Zawadzki, Business Development Manager for Germany and Austria at Flae Robotics, said: “Hotels in Germany and Austria are facing the same challenges as the rest of Europe: staff shortages, pressure to increase efficiency, and ever-higher guest expectations. AI can fundamentally change the way front-office teams work –  not by replacing human service, but by removing repetitive workload and enabling people to focus on genuine guest care. I’m excited to help introduce BE-A to hotels across the DACH region.”
