Dubai Hotel Occupancy to Plummet to 10% in Second Quarter

Hotel occupancy in Dubai is projected to plummet to 10% in the second quarter from 80% in February, according to a report from Moody’s Analytics.

“This represents an effective shutdown of large parts of the hospitality sector,” Moody’s Analytics said. “Occupancy rates will likely be depressed through the rest of 2026 relative to the Februarybaseline amid a tourism slump. A return to pre-conflict conditions is unlikely before earlynext year, reflecting traveller hesitancy even after hostilities subside.”
