Forsthofgut Nature Hotel in Leogang, Austria has unveiled their newly renovated Garden Loft Suites alongside summer camp programming for children and teens, giving families more space, privacy, and ways to experience summer in the Austrian Alps.
Created in response to growing demand for luxury accommodations designed around family travel, the renovated Garden Loft Suites offer approximately 1,500 square feet of indoor-outdoor living space across two floors and can accommodate up to five guests. Each suite includes a master bedroom with a king-size bed, walk-in wardrobe, open bathroom with freestanding bathtub, separate children’s bedroom on the upper floor, and an upper-level living area with a sofa, fireplace, and second bathroom. A private hot tub has also been added to the terrace, joining the suite’s outdoor sauna and mountain views to create more space for families to relax between activities.
The suite updates coincide with the launch of Forsthofgut’s Kids and Teens Camp programs, offered on select dates through September. Designed for children ages five and up, the camps give young guests a more structured way to experience Leogang through outdoor adventure, creative workshops, sports, and nature-led discovery.
For children ages five to eight, the property’s Explorer Camp and Researcher Camp use the surrounding forests and mountains as an open-air classroom, with days shaped around ranger-led discovery, rocket building, beekeeping, natural art, simple experiments, wood carving, and cooking over an open fire. For teens, the Adventure and Action Camp, Active Camp, and Girls Camp bring a more active pace, with archery, rafting, high ropes, mountain carting, yoga, art studio sessions, and time at Lake Pillersee for stand-up paddleboarding or relaxing by the water.
A Tennis Camp and Soccer Camp round out the new programs, with sessions grouped by skill level or age. The camps are designed to give children and teens new ways to stay active, spend time outside, and connect with other young guests, while parents have more time to enjoy Forsthofgut’s award-winning waldSPA, restaurants, and mountain activities.
Together, the renovated Garden Loft Suites and camp programs further strengthen Forsthofgut’s family offerings, pairing more spacious accommodations with summer activities shaped by sport, creativity, nature, and time outdoors.
