It Took Eight Years to Create a One-Page PDF for U.S. Airlines

The Department of Transportation published a final rule on April 24 implementing Section 429 of the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018. The requirement: every air carrier and foreign air carrier operating in the United States must submit a one-page PDF document to DOT summarizing passenger rights regarding delays, cancellations, diversions, lost baggage, and denied boarding, and then post that summary on their website.
