Singapore’s YouTrip Launches a Children’s Travel Card Into a Gap Asia’s Fintechs Left Open

Singapore-based travel wallet YouTrip on Thursday announced the launch of YouTrip Family, a multi-currency mobile wallet and card for travelers aged 7 to 18.
YouTrip Family is free, has no foreign exchange fees, and offers real-time wholesale exchange rates. Parents control top-ups, spending limits, and can monitor their kids’ transactions.
Similar products, like OCBC’s Frank and DBS’s account for younger users, aren’t built for travel. If they can be used internationally, they typically have subscription fees or costly currency translations.
