Amandari, Ubud
Close to the artistic heart of Ubud, Amandari is designed to echo the form of an ancient Balinese village, its pool mirroring the rice paddies below.
Presided over by a sacred stone tiger, Amandari was designed after a traditional Balinese village on the verdant lip of the Ayung River Gorge. Free-standing guest pavilions and villas are reached via winding pathways, while the curving swimming pool mimics the rice paddies below. Close to the artistic centre of Ubud, this place of peace invites both reflection and the exploration of Bali’s cultural heart.
Thatched-roof pavilions inspired by traditional Balinese design open onto shaded terraces and garden settings. Interiors are defined by natural materials of coconut, teak and bamboo, creating a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living.

Situated near Ubud, discover stone gateways fronting Amandari’s thatched-roof Pavilions, which open on three sides via sliding glass doors to lush garden courtyards and feature coconut and teak wood accents. For those seeking a little more space, the Amandari Villas are surrounded by cascading rice terraces and beautiful views of the Ayung River Valley below, offering consummate privacy for guests seeking an authentic Balinese experience.
Framed by stone getaways and enclosed courtyard gardens, Amandari’s Villas offer a more private, home-style setting where generous living spaces meet with coconut and teak-wood interiors beneath traditional thatched roofs.
