Delta Makes Moves to Close the Pacific Gap With United

Delta Air Lines is ramping up international service to Las Vegas during the winter travel season, adding new routes to Taipei and Hong Kong.
The carrier is expanding service to Asia ahead of CES, a major tech conference in Las Vegas that takes place in January. The event draws more than 148,000 attendees from around the world, according to the conference’s website.
Delta is also increasing service to Seoul, Shanghai, Amsterdam, Paris, and London in January in the days leading to the conference.
