The travel industry is warning against threats from Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin to halt customs at “sanctuary cities” in the U.S. just two weeks ahead of the World Cup.
Mullin told “Fox and Friends” Thursday that Customs and Border Protection would consider pulling agents from Newark Liberty International Airport because DHS needs to deploy federal police officers to respond to protests in New Jersey against the Trump administration’s immigration policy.
