Wizz Air confirms the return of all operations to Tel Aviv from 28th May | News

Wizz Air announces it will resume operations to and from Tel Aviv, Israel, from Thursday, 28th May, marking an important step in reconnecting Israel with key European destinations.
The decision follows the latest update from EASA and reflects Wizz Air’s ongoing coordination with international and local authorities, including aviation and security bodies, alongside its overriding commitment to ensuring safe operations.
Hundreds of thousands of tickets are already on sale at wizzair.com and via the WIZZ app.
The airline will continue to monitor developments closely and remains in regular contact with aviation safety agencies, security authorities, and governmental bodies. Operations will be continuously reviewed, and schedules may be adjusted in line with official industry guidance.
With the resumed Tel Aviv flights, Wizz Air further strengthens its position as Israel’s number one low-cost airline and its leading position in Europe and beyond. The airline currently operates more than 1,000 routes and aims to carry 80 million passengers across its extensive network in 2026, reaffirming its mission to make air travel accessible and affordable for all.
