Gary Torres joins HotelREZ as Vice President of Platform Strategy | News

HotelREZ Hotels & Resorts has appointed Gary Torres as Vice President of Platform Strategy, reinforcing the company’s strategic focus on strengthening its core platform capabilities to seamlessly connect, support and scale its global partner ecosystem in a secure, resilient and future‑ready way.
In this role, Gary will focus on enhancing connectivity standards, governance and collaboration across partners, helping to ensure greater consistency, reliability and scalability as HotelREZ continues to expand its global connectivity footprint. Working closely with the Product team, he will play a key role in advancing the technical foundations that underpin the company’s growth.
Gary will spearhead the continued evolution of REZswitch®, HotelREZ’s two-way API connecting Property Management Systems (PMS) and the Central Reservation System (CRS). He will drive initiatives to strengthen platform performance, improve data standards, and streamline partner collaboration, supporting a more robust and interoperable platform environment.

Gary Torres has over 20 years’ experience in product design and development within the travel and hospitality technology sector, with a strong track record of building efficient processes and high-performing teams. He joins HotelREZ following senior roles with companies including Pegasus Solutions and Duetto and is the fourth executive appointment to the leadership team since December, following the appointments of John Seaton as Chief Growth Officer, Hadley O’Dwyer as Vice President of Customer Success and Engagement, and Frank Fuentes as Senior Vice President, The Americas.
